Ananasnaya Hardy Kiwi Berry Seeds - Actinidia Arguta - Tasty & Abundant
Quantity: 10 Seeds
Ananasnaya Hardy Kiwi Berry, aka Actinidia Arguta, is possibly the best kind of Kiwi to grow in cooler climates. Not only are the plants best suited to our climate, but the fruits are much tastier than the standard fuzzy varieties. It's native to Asia, and once established can produce a hundred pounds of fruit each seaosn. By late summer, the plants are laden with an abundance of large fruit clusters, and it's quite a beautiful sight. The fruits are hairless and the skin is thin and pleasant to eat. They taste much sweeter than the standard kiwis and are less acidic.
All seeds are organic and open pollinated.

Growing Instructions
For best results, start Kiwi seeds outdoors either directly or in pots about 1-2 weeks before the first frost, or stratify the seeds for a month before sowing in early spring. The soil should be made moist, but not damp. Sow the seeds 1/8 inch below the soil surface. Seeds are slow to germinate and can take 4-8 weeks to sprout. Once germinated, and the first true leaf has formed, it's time to pot up to a larger container that contains a good quality potting soil if planted in a pot. Transplant to their final location when the nighttime temperatures are consistently 8°C or higher.
