African Daisy Seeds - Osteospermum Spp. - Perennial & Pollinator Friendly
Quantity: 10 seeds
African Daisy, aka Osteospermum, is a perennial member of the Aster family, Asteraceae. It originates in Africa, but has spread across the world due to its ornamental properties. Plants are perennial to zone 9, but can be grown as an annual anywhere else. They bloom from midsummer until they die back in the winter, or in some cases continue flowering through the winter. The flowers come in many different colours, but there will only be one colour on a single plant. It attracts all sorts of pollinators, making it an excellent addition to any flower garden. African Daisies look great in any flower bed, and deserve a place in almost any garden.
All seeds are organic and open pollinated.

Growing Instructions
African Daisy seeds can be directly sown in the ground, or started in pots. Sow the seeds 1/8 to 1/4 inches into the ground in early spring. Seeds should emerge in 2-3 weeks. The plants like the soil to be moist, but need proper drainage as they don't like to sit in water. The plants don’t require very much attention once established other than a good mulching, and a bi-weekly watering. Plants can self seed if they aren't deadheaded.
